Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of lashelier.com and any purchase you make from it. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

Lashelier ("we", "us", "our") operates this store. You can reach us at hello@lashelier.com and we answer within one business day. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc.

2. Using this site

You must be the age of majority in your province, state or country to buy from us, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to transmit malicious code, or to copy, scrape or resell any part of it without our written permission.

3. Products and availability

We show product colours and images as accurately as we can, but we cannot guarantee how they appear on your screen. Natural materials vary piece to piece. Product descriptions, specifications and availability may change without notice, and we may limit or refuse any order at our discretion.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. If your card is charged in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate. Import duties are prepaid at checkout for the destinations we ship to, so nothing is collected on delivery.

5. Pricing and description errors

Occasionally a price, description or availability on the site may be wrong. We reserve the right to correct errors and to cancel any order placed at an incorrect price, including after it was submitted. If we cancel, we refund you in full.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy form part of these Terms. In short: 30 days to return unused items, no restocking fee, and anything damaged or wrong is replaced free. Made-to-order items, including printed wall art and personalised pieces, are not returnable for preference, but are always replaced if damaged or misprinted.

7. Your information

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. You agree to give us accurate purchase and account information and to keep it current.

8. Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices, and their terms apply to your dealings with them.

9. Comments and submissions

If you send us reviews, photos, ideas or other material, you grant us permission to use, edit and publish it. You are responsible for what you send, it must be your own, and it must not be unlawful or infringe anyone's rights. We are not obliged to keep it confidential, pay for it, or respond.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you have where you live.

11. Indemnity

You agree to hold Lashelier harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Severability and termination

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either you or us, and obligations incurred before termination survive it.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes the protection of any mandatory consumer law in your own country of residence.
